Principal's Message

Welcome to Ralph McCall

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! If you are new to the Ralph McCall school community, welcome! If you are returning for another year of learning with us, welcome back! We look forward to the many fun activities, experiences, and rich learning that will happen for students at Ralph McCall School.

In 24-25, the school's priorities will continue to align with Rocky View Schools’ three goals for the 2023-2027 Education Plan. Advancing students’ literacy and numeracy skills is an important part of learning each day at Ralph McCall School. We will continue to ‘build future ready students’ by focusing on the Alberta student competencies of critical thinking, communication, problem solving, collaboration, managing information, cultural and global citizenship, creativity and innovation, and personal growth and well-being. We will also continue our work with PBIS (Positive Behaviour Intervention and Supports) to provide school-wide behavioural and social supports that are proactive, positive, predictable, and consistent to create a safe and caring school environment. We realize that each one of our students is an individual with unique strengths and challenges in various areas. We look forward to seeing our students' growth during this school year. It is our hope that all students at Ralph McCall feel that this is a place where they belong, can learn and grow, and can be successful.

To our parent community, we love to communicate with you and value your involvement. If you are looking to become more involved, we encourage you to attend a School Council meeting and read the teacher and school newsletters for volunteer opportunities. Volunteers make a big difference at our school!

One for all and all for one!
