Nov 4 Construction Impacts

The four new portables are scheduled for placement on Monday, November 4. There will be safety fencing up and several spotters to ensure safety around the area during the lifts of the modular units onto the pilings. The construction will impact access to the school.
8:15 - The parent parking lane alongside 1st Ave NW will be closed at 8:15 and remain closed for the remainder of the day.
8:30 – Crane is set up in the grassy area between the parking lane and the current construction fence. Trucks with modulars will queue up in parent parking lane.
8:00 – 2:45 – School will keep students away from the construction area as they enter/exit the school for recess breaks and during outdoor play times. Mr. Sutton and Mrs. Madden's classes will learn elsewhere in the school since their classrooms are adjacent to the construction.
2:45 – The parent parking lane is closed during afternoon pick up. As always, there is no access to the bus loop for parents, so parents will need to park in the community. No one will not be able to walk around the north side of the building. The school will have all available staff outside to support at dismissal time.
If your pick up plans are impacted by the closed area, please ensure you discuss where you will meet with you child at the end of the day.
